Mark is passionate about social media and it's value to a business. He brings a unique outlook on social media as he is part of the first generation to grow up on the internet. Mark was born and raised in Calgary and eventually attended Mount Royal College. As an avid basketball player, Mark was a member of the MRC Cougars for 3 years, where he captained the team to their first conference championship in over 15 years. He then moved on to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan. There, he played basketball for the Huskies and continued his education where he graduated in 2009 with a Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing.
Since returning to his hometown, Mark has decided to give back to the basketball community, which gave him so many opportunities. At first he worked as a marketing advisor and assistant coach with NBA shooting coach and close friend Dave Love. For the last year Mark has volunteered his time to coach Grades 7-12 boys and girls with the Foundation Youth Basketball program.
As a member of KAYAK, Mark brings to the table a variety of skills. His love for coaching and ability to teach transferred seamlessly into the role of lead administrator for our Active Media Certification courses. Mark's knowledge and continued learning ensures that every client that passes through the program receives up-to-date and relevant information.
