Matco Financial is an established player in the financial services industry. Looking to expand their reach as a mutual fund provider, they engaged Kayak Creative to improve their online communications and enlarge their commitment to a policy of communicating as openly as possible with clients and prospects.

The Challenge

Matco saw an opportunity to acquire new business from mutual fund investors online. This required a robust online presence where consumers would be able to research the company and its products.

Our Task

Kayak Creative redesigned Matco's existing website to engage investors through inviting visuals, robust information and social media integration. We also needed to create ways to capture interested prospects' information for the Matco Financial team to follow up on.

The Solution

Kayak developed a clean, corporate interface that uses colour and imagery to attract visitors to actionable items. Nearly every page has a personalized form (see inset), allowing visitors to see who they can connect with for more information. In an industry as personal as financial services, it was important to reinforce the personalized attention Matco gives to every client.

In addition to the visual redesign, Kayak wanted to allow Matco to expand on their values of communication, transparency and opportunity. Kayak's solution allows Matco's staff to update content on their own and "move at the speed of business." (Kayak websites don't require developers to make content or styling additions/edits). By completing the Active Media Training Program, Matco staff are also positioned to connect with peers and potential clients online in a manner traditional methods could never support.

The Results

The chart to the right shows Matco's website quality score improved by an astonishing 572% over its predecessor within days of launch – a direct result of building their website the right way:
